In my last semester, I took on a full-time editorial internship where I worked closely with the editorial team to craft compelling news articles and curate press releases. After the six-month internship ended, I continued as a reporter at Variety.

I covered live events in New York City, from movie premieres to award ceremonies, delivering engaging reporting with quick turnaround. I interviewed hundreds of world-renowned celebrities, honing the skill of asking brief yet impactful questions to create standout content.

In the fall of 2022, I covered the civil lawsuits of Kevin Spacey and Paul Haggis, highlighting the issues of sexual misconduct in Hollywood while gaining experience as a courtroom reporter.

Authored stories ranging from A-list Hollywood talent to underrepresented brands and communities. Also made valuable contributions to the print edition of Variety Magazine.

Awarded 1st place at the 16th National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards for my on-the-ground reporting in Brooklyn, covering the aftermath of a tragic shooting involving a Law & Order crew member. The judges praised the piece for its superb “sense of place” and detailed immersion into the neighborhood.
